I already told you I like the Rockies but let me break it down a bit more. LAD is 7-20 revenging 2 straight losses and COL is 43-29 at home when the money line is +125 to -125. Even though it was against Pitt the Rockies have won four straight and get the Dodgers off an emtional win against Arizona. LA struggles in Colorado at just 2-7 in the last nine and the pitching matchup is in favor of the Rocks. Wells pitched well in his last outing while Stults is 0-2 in his last three with an ERA over 4. The real edge is at the plate where the Rockies hit lefties very well 23 points higher than righties and the Dodgers are hiting just .216 in the last ten games against righties.

Tribe @ Angels
I don't have the nuggets to do it but the tribe is the play here. The Angels are off a very emtional series against the Sox and in a long season this is where let down games sneak in. The tribe are playing decent ball and hitting better than the Halo's in the last ten. I can't find the spirit to take a team this bad that has given up on the year, (see Oakland) but they can win this tonight. Byrd is well rested and will pitch a decent game tonight. Santana shows up but its a close one.

Red Sox @ Seattle
This is another tough game to take but I am on the M's tonight. The theory is that the Red Sox are not playing well. BOS are 3-11 in the last 14 meetings in Seattle and Lester has done well but with 7 runs of support on average in the last three games. Don't look forward to that kind of support against Washburn. In fact Lester may need a lot to beat Seattle. They hit him pretty well as they have teed up for nine in his last two starts in Seattle. He has given up 11 in his last three starts overall. Washburn has given up more than two runs just once in his last seven starts. Seattle's pen has been better than the Sox in the last three and overall on the year the M's hit lefties better. This is a shootout but I give the nod to the M's!
